Ping Pong Music

Ping Pong Music is a sonically enhanced table tennis match which aims to question traditional ideas of musical performance through a playful compositional environment. The installation works with the rhythmic properties of a table tennis match, to amplify the sonic experience and reward the players with more complex sonic structures and sounds. The project guides the players to overcome any psychological or technical deterrent keeping them away from creating music, tricking them into composing a piece through an activity of a different nature.
